A devastating tragedy has struck northern Pakistan.
Terrifying flash floods have swept through the area, carrying with them rocks and debris that have buried homes under rubble and shattered countless lives.
Rescue teams and local residents are currently working tirelessly to search for survivors. Across Pakistan over 300,000 people are taking shelter in makeshift tents.
The Buner district, home to Bishnoi, has suffered deeply, recording 217 fatalities. Half of the houses in Bishnoi have been completely destroyed, while the rest have been left uninhabitable.
