Providing Nourishing Meals to Growing Minds

Children spend a majority of their day at school, and for some kids it is where they get their only proper meal. Nourishing meals are vital to meet a growing child’s nutritional needs as well as a mental boost to take on their studies diligently.

In the wake of recent tragedies, we are highlighting a school in Parachinar that needs funding to provide meals for their students. These meals will be even more meaningful for students that have experienced unimaginable loss.

Project Description

Al Kausar Welfare Foundation is a school for orphaned and vulnerable children, and it also serves as an orphanage. This school meals project will support their current school meals, while broadening their scope for the future. Each meal is meticulously planned to ensure that students are provided with the most nutritious foods in their growing years.

The Zahra Trust Canada strives to support this initiative to empower children that have experienced unimaginable loss in the most crucial years of their lives. With these efforts, these children may go on to change their lives for the better and build a brighter future for their community.
