Together, we can help families brave the cold and build a brighter future.

Support Now

Support Families in Afghanistan

With families struggling to recover from the effects of war in Afghanistan amongst the ongoing instability, The Zahra Trust Canada is providing critical aid during these winter months. Support families in Afghanistan with emergency shelter, food, clothing, medical aid, fuel costs and bedding by selecting one of our packages.

Build a House for a Widow in Iraq

In Iraq, widows and orphans often find themselves grappling with not only the emotional trauma of loss but also the practical challenges of securing a stable and secure living environment.

The Zahra Trust Canada is building homes to house widows and vulnerable women in Najaf, Karbala, and Diwaniya, especially those who possess land but lack the means to construct a house.

Help us provide them and their children with a safe and dignified living space by donating towards the house construction in Iraq package.

Help pay bills

The rise of energy bills across Canada will leave many in destitution, and can wipe out the incomes of poorer households, leaving millions with the threat of bills they cannot pay or the choice between heating and eating this winter. Support families in need by paying towards their energy bills.
